Further to my site visit yesterday, I wish to confirm that this morning, we have asked our bank to transfer the final payment to you in respect of your invoice.
It was good of you to meet me on a Sunday morning and I appreciate this.
The work you have carried out is not only of a high standard, but I can clearly see (even in my retirement but as an ex-property surveyor) that you have exercised great care and attention to detail, in all that you have done. The pointing to the chimney stack, the capping of the pots, the embedding of the stepped flashings and aprons, and the excellent lip to prevent rainwater overflow from the adjacent roof – all carried out so well – I remain very impressed and would not hesitate in recommending you, for your competence, thoughtfulness, tidiness and professional quality of roofing work.
With the new roof insulation, guttering and the new Kemper System flat roof, our minds are now at rest that our top floor tenants in Apartments 5 and 6 should be able to enjoy lower heating bills and little risk of water ingress, if we have another wet Winter, like last year.
Additionally those, in the apartments below whose side-wall had been affected by some slight dampness caused by the adjacent roof rainwater overflowing and running down that wall, should now be able to benefit from an absence of any damp as the new lip and rainwater goods take the rainwater to the appropriate guttering and downpipes.Best wishes and many thanks once again,
